ADVANCED LIDAR APPLICATIONS SRL
ALA develops LIDAR systems for atmospheric remote sensing and air quality monitoring.
ALA designs and produce most of the electronics managing its LIDAR systems and offert customizable solutions..
ALA develops user-friendly software to manage LIDAR systems and acquire and analize their data.
ALA offers modular systems and customizable solutions to meet all customers' requirements.
ALA ADVANCED LIDAR APPLICATIONS SRL develops high-grade LIDAR systems for atmospheric remote-sensing and air quality monitoring and provides high-end services based on them, like measurement campaigns and data analysis.
Born in 2012 and incorporated as spin off company of Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and the Italian National Research Council, ALA mission is an ongoing process based on a very strong connection between research and technological development.
ALA LIDARs result from more than 20 years of experience in the atmospheric research and combine accuracy, compactness, portability, autonomy in remote use, and ease of operation.
ALA offers modular solutions to meet the needs of our customer and a broad spectrum of systems with different size, wavelength and range.
SMART is an elastic-Raman LIDAR specially designed to monitor the atmosphere in a very large elevation range: from 0.2 meters to 15 kilometers.
COLIBRI represents the next generation of compact LIDAR. Combining lightness, ultra-compact size and low power consumption is designed to monitor the space-time distribution of Particulate Matter in the near field.
REAL is a LIDAR device specially developed to provide a wealth of information about the atmosphere in very large range of altitude from 100m to 30km.
FAST is ALA newest entry designed to-rivide information about visibility in bad foggy driven condition.
ALA along with the devolopment lidar-based systems, provides high-end services based on them, like measurement campaigns and data analysis for air quality monitoring and control.
INTERNATIONAL MEASUREMENT CAMPAIGN IN THE FRAMEWORK OF ACTRIS-2
The so called Monte Cimone ACTRIS2 JRA1 campaign, organized by CNR-ISAC, took place in three different sites near the Italian city Bologna. The goal was the evaluation of the processes affecting the black carbon variability.
The campaign took place in the Actris-2 CIAO infrastructure in Potenza, Italy. The main goal was to compare and calibrate ALA system REAL-VIS owned by the China Admnistration Agency (CMA) with the LIDAR system MUSA operating at CIAO, one of the reference ACTRIS/EARLINET and part of the ACTRIS Lidar Calibration Centre – LiCal).
Multidisciplinary measurement campaigns organized by the Italian municipality of Pomigliano d'Arco-Naples
The measurement campaign (a collaboration with ALA, the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and CeSMA) took place in three different sites in the city of Pomigliano d’Arco, near Naples. The goal was investigating how urban activities affect the PM concentration.
Investigation organized by Campania Region, in ITAly
The measurement campaign had the goal to investigate and characterize particulate matter emissions produced by landfill sites. A collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and CeSMA.
