DALA

Data Acquisition for Lidar Analysis

A complete LIDAR acquisition data

DALA has been specifically designed to seamlessly complement ALA LIDAR systems, while remaining fully compatible with any LIDAR system.

The software supports the acquisition of up to twelve channels and provides real-time visualization of LIDAR signals across multiple wavelengths.

DALA is the chosen acquisition software  running on:

  • MALIA, being part of the permanent European Aerosol Research Lidar NETwork (EARLINET), station of Naples
  • AMPLE, being part of the not-permanent EARLINET network, used for ETNA Volcano plumes investigation by INGV Catania

Control and automation

Automatic Acqusition

The software, among with its other features, automatically starts and stops data acquisition according to the chosen schedule

Device control

DALA controls all LIDAR devices and can automatically power on/off the laser and the acquisition board and manage the servomotors according with the chosen schedule.
