Physicist or Engineer with focus on Optics

Your role

- help us designing, implementing, calibrating, and testing LIDAR systems

- produce optical designs

participate in all development phases

- assemble and optimize general optical experimental setups

- support electronic engineers and software developers

analyze data

Your qualifications

– MS (or equivalent title) in Physics or Engineering with focus on Optics or BS in Optics
– practical experience with optical setups, optical tables and related tools
– lab skills
– practical thinking to be able to solve problems independently
– good organizational skills, be able to manage more than one project at time
– Microsoft Office knowledge
– analytical and research capabilities
– learning and team working skills
– good English knowledge
– willing to travel

Big plus

Knowledge of Zemax

Electrical and Electronic Designer

Your role

- help us designing, implementing, testing and repairing electronic circuits for our LIDAR systems

- produce electronic designs

- support software developers - write microcontroller firmware - train your scientific and engineering skills

Your qualifications

– MS in Electronic Engineer or relevant areas of experties
– competence in the area of electronic design
– experience with tools like EAGLE
– knowledge of electronic/electro-mechanical components
– lab skills
– practical experience with electronical setup and related instruments
– practical thinking to be able to solve problems independently
– good organizational skills, be able to manage more than one project at time
– Microsoft Office knowledge
– learning skills
– pro-active, team player
– good English knowledge
– manual dexterity
– willing to travel (occasionally)
